Terms of Use
Last updated: September 16, 2026. These Terms explain the rules that apply to AGS Pay accounts, website and application use, payment and money-transfer features, customer responsibilities, transaction review, cancellations and related services.
1. Purpose of the Terms
These Terms govern access to and use of the AGS Pay website, mobile application, account features and money-transfer services. They should be read together with the Privacy Policy, Security page and Transfer, Cancellation and Refund Policy.
2. Acceptance when creating an account
Before an account is created, the user is given access to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. By selecting the acceptance box and continuing, the user confirms acceptance of the Terms and acknowledges the Privacy Policy. AGS Pay does not ask for a new general acceptance at every transfer; the user instead reviews the specific transaction details before confirming an operation.
3. Eligibility
You must satisfy the age, residency, identity and other eligibility requirements shown by AGS Pay for the service you use. AGS Pay may refuse, restrict or suspend access when eligibility cannot be confirmed or when required by security, compliance or law.
4. Accurate account information
You must provide accurate, complete and current information. You are responsible for updating information when it changes and for responding to reasonable verification requests. Inaccurate information can delay or prevent account verification or transactions.
5. Account security
You are responsible for protecting your device, password, verification codes and other authentication methods. Do not allow another person to use your account as if it were theirs. Notify AGS Pay promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or activity.
6. Identity and compliance checks
AGS Pay may require identity verification and additional information before or during use of the service. A transaction may be delayed or reviewed while required checks are completed. AGS Pay may use specialized providers to support these controls.
7. Permitted use
The service is intended for lawful personal transfers and other uses expressly made available by AGS Pay. You must not use the service for fraud, deception, money laundering, sanctions evasion, prohibited goods or services, or any activity that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.
8. Beneficiary information
You are responsible for entering and reviewing the beneficiary’s name, telephone number, country and receiving method. You must be authorized to provide the beneficiary information needed for the transfer. Incorrect beneficiary information can cause delays, failed transfers or delivery to the wrong destination.
9. Preparing a transfer
Before confirmation, AGS Pay presents the transaction information available for review, which may include the amount sent, fees, exchange rate, estimated amount received, beneficiary and receiving method. Review this information carefully before authorizing payment and processing.
10. Exchange rates
The exchange rate applicable to a transfer is the rate displayed for that transaction before confirmation. Rates shown elsewhere on the website or app may be informational and can change. A rate is not locked for a transaction until the service expressly indicates that it applies to that transaction.
11. Fees
Applicable fees are presented before the transaction is confirmed. Fees can depend on the amount, destination, payment method, corridor or other operational factors. The user has an opportunity to review the transaction summary before proceeding.
12. Payment methods
Available payment methods may include Interac e-Transfer, Visa or Mastercard where supported. Availability can vary by account, transaction and provider. Initiating a payment does not necessarily mean that funds have been finally received or cleared.
13. Transfer processing
After confirmation and successful payment, AGS Pay begins processing according to the applicable corridor and providers. Processing may involve payment providers, payout partners and receiving networks. Status information is shown in the app when available.
14. Transfer timing
Delivery times can vary based on payment confirmation, destination, receiving network, technical availability and verification requirements. Any estimate is provided for information unless AGS Pay expressly states that a particular delivery time is guaranteed.
15. Transfer status and tracking
A transfer may move through statuses such as Confirmed, Processing and Delivered, and may also be placed under review, fail or be cancelled. Tracking reflects the most recent information available to AGS Pay and can depend on updates received from external providers.
16. Cancellation requests
You may ask AGS Pay to review a cancellation request. A request is not automatically an effective cancellation. Whether a transfer can be stopped depends on its actual processing stage and the capabilities of the systems and providers involved.
17. Transfers already delivered
Once funds have been paid or made available to the beneficiary, cancellation may no longer be possible. You should therefore review beneficiary information carefully before confirmation and contact support immediately if you discover an error.
18. Failed transfers
If a transfer fails, AGS Pay reviews available information to determine the appropriate next step. Depending on the circumstances, the operation may be retried, corrected, cancelled or refunded where applicable.
19. Refunds
Where a refund applies, processing can depend on the original payment method, the status of the funds and the financial systems involved. The amount refunded and treatment of fees depend on the circumstances and applicable rules. Final posting time may also depend on a bank or payment provider.
20. Transaction limits
AGS Pay may apply transaction, daily, monthly, account or corridor limits for security, operational or compliance reasons. Limits may differ between users or change over time. An attempted operation may be declined or require additional review if a limit applies.
21. Suspicious or unusual activity
AGS Pay may delay, refuse, restrict or review an operation when necessary to investigate suspected fraud, unusual activity, account misuse, sanctions concerns or compliance requirements. Additional information may be requested before a decision is made.
22. Account restriction or suspension
Access may be temporarily restricted or suspended to protect the account, investigate activity, complete verification, address a breach of these Terms or comply with applicable requirements. Where appropriate and permitted, AGS Pay may provide information about steps required to resolve the restriction.
23. Closing an account
A user may request account closure subject to outstanding transactions, reviews and applicable requirements. Closing an account does not erase records that AGS Pay must retain for legal, regulatory, security, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.
24. Third-party services
AGS Pay relies on third-party technology, identity, payment and payout services to provide parts of the service. AGS Pay remains responsible for its own obligations, but some steps depend on third-party systems, availability and rules.
25. Interruptions and maintenance
The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical incidents or events outside AGS Pay’s reasonable control. AGS Pay seeks to restore affected functions and limit disruption but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of every external component.
26. Your responsibility for errors
Review all information before confirmation and report an error or unrecognized transaction promptly. Quick notice can improve the possibility of intervention but does not guarantee that an operation already completed can be recovered or cancelled.
27. Privacy
How AGS Pay handles personal information is described in the Privacy Policy available from the website and app. It explains the categories of information processed, purposes, providers, retention, security and privacy requests.
28. Changes to the service or Terms
AGS Pay may update features or these Terms to reflect changes to the service, providers or applicable requirements. The published version date appears at the top. Where a change requires notice or renewed acceptance, an appropriate process will be used.
29. Related documents
These Terms should be read with the Privacy Policy, Security page and Transfer, Cancellation and Refund Policy. For a question about a specific operation, contact support and include the transaction reference.
